About the event
The Eagle Allies of Roanoke Valley Christian Schools and Camp Eagle boldly present the:
The Mighty Eagle Mud Run: A 5K mud run challenge set on Camp Eagle’s breathtaking 150-acre campground in Fincastle, VA.
Runners will tackle 3.1 miles of rugged terrain, winding through creeks, hills, obstacles (natural & man-made), and of course, plenty of mud and muck to dirty your feathers!! (Individual and Team Race options)
This aint your grandpa’s nature walk in the woods!
Breathe in the great outdoors, keep an eye out for Bigfoot, and prepare to be swallowed by the wilderness as you begin your “trial by trail”.
*Muddy-Mile Challenge and Little Eaglets Course options as well to ensure all Eagles have an opportunity to embrace the challenge!

Race against yourself, the course and others in your age bracket. Your first goal is to finish; your second goal is to finish first! (This course recommended for ages 11 and older, however younger are permitted with parental consent-mark the 11-14 age bracket if doing so)

Team 5k Mud Run
Misery Loves Company! Five-person teams take on all other teams! Put together a dream team and traverse the madness together while challenging other teams to beat you to the finish line! (This course recommended for ages 11 and older, 5 person teams only, must cross the finish line together)

Muddy Mile Challenge
1/3 the challenge, still full of fun, mud and grit. A scaled-back (1.? miles) version of the 5k mud run for families and those not quite ready to tackle the full wilderness! (This race is open to all providing a fun challenge for hikers, walkers, & runners. Strollers not recommended)

Little Eaglet Course
An enclosed/looped obstacle course for the Little Eaglets in training. Unlimited entry runs for fun, to race a friend, or attempts at top 3 fastest times. (For ages 9 and under-adults may accompany their children)
